Recently, we helped renew an auto insurance policy for one of our customers, who happens to be an English-speaking foreign national.
Then I realized, how complicated all those technical legal words might have sounded to his ears. Sure enough, that is quite "foreign" for Japanese nationals, too.
Then I also realized how important it is to identify exactly the kind of coverage he needed, in addition to properly explain it. He said a lot of things are different from the way they are where he is from, thus, quite confusing.
Well, thankfully, I successfully made suggestions, explained them all, and reached agreement.
